Armed Suspect Shot Near Washington Monument, Oklahoma Lake Shooting, China Fireworks Plant Explosion

A tense scene unfolded yesterday near the White House, where Secret Service agents shot an armed suspect after he opened fire near the Washington Monument. Authorities say the man was spotted carrying a weapon, tried to flee, then turned and fired at officers. Agents returned fire, wounding the suspect, while a bystander suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, police in Oklahoma are searching for suspects after a mass shooting at a crowded lake party left more than 20 people injured. The violence broke out late Sunday near Arcadia Lake outside Oklahoma City after an argument escalated, sending at least 18 people to hospitals. And in China, a deadly explosion at a fireworks plant has killed at least 26 people and injured dozens more. The blast triggered evacuations and a large emergency response, with one person detained as investigators work to determine the cause. CBN News.
